TUALATIN, OR—Kershaw offers two new reliable hunting companions: the new Antelope Hunter II and Zipit gut hook—both in safety orange.
The Antelope Hunter II (Model 1028OR) features a robust, drop-point skinning blade of tough AUS8A stainless steel. The blade’s strength and curve enables quick skinning without damaging the meat. The sturdy blade also handles the full range of field-cleaning chores with ease. In addition to its easy-to-find orange color, the Antelope Hunter II’s handle offers significant advantages. The injection-molded co-polymer handle is contoured to fit the hand and offers enhanced control, even in wet or slippery conditions.
Kershaw has a new answer for hunters who appreciate the utility of a gut hook, but whose favorite hunting knife doesn’t have one. It’s the Zipit Gut Hook (Model 2520OR)—also in safety orange. This is a razor-sharp, high-performance gut hook, yet it measures only a few inches in length and weighs less than 2 ounces. The trick is that the Zipit is just the gut hook—with a built-in finger hole instead of a knife-style handle. Just hook your index finger through the Zipit’s finger ring and zip through field-dressing chores. The Zipit's 420J2 stainless-steel construction delivers a high-quality cutting edge while the rubber-lined finger hole offers comfort during use.
The Antelope Hunter II is 8 inches long, weighs 3.6 ounces, and comes with it’s own harness-leather sheath. It retails for $39.95. The Zipit weighs just 1.6 ounces and retails for $12.95.
The safety-orange Antelope Hunter II and Zipit are built to maintain Kershaw’s worldwide reputation for quality and innovation. The company prides itself on using the highest quality materials and state-of-the-art techniques to produce knives and other cutting tools that are prized throughout the world.

TUALATIN, OR—All Kershaw fillet knives are designed to flex, lie flat against the backbone, and glide through a fish like butter—for the perfect fillet.
The 7½-Inch Fillet (Model 1270) is the newest member of the Kershaw family of perfect-fillet knives. It features a thin, flexible blade that helps make your fish grill-ready in no time. Because the 420J2 stainless-steel blade flexes without breaking, it easily moves through the body of the fish to quickly prepare it for cooking. In addition, the 420J2 blade steel offers superior corrosion resistance, good edge retention, and strength.
Since filleting can be a slippery job, it’s important to have a handle designed to stay in your hand. So Kershaw pairs the 7½-Inch Fillet’s flexible blade with a super-sure-grip handle. The 7½-Inch Fillet’s injection-molded handle is precisely contoured and textured for a secure grip even when wet and slippery. For added convenience, the handle is drilled to accept a lanyard.
Kershaw’s new 7½-Inch Fillet comes with its own ABS sheath for convenient carrying and storage. As you might guess, the 7½-Inch Fillet’s blade is a full 7½ inches long; the knife measure 12¼ inches overall and weighs 2.2 ounces. It is value-priced at just $12.95.
The 7½-Inch Fillet is built to maintain Kershaw’s worldwide reputation for quality and innovation. The company prides itself on using the highest quality materials and state-of-the-art techniques to produce knives and other cutting tools that are prized throughout the world.

TUALATIN, OR—Sword makers have long known that the ideal blade is often a combination of different steels, each chosen for its unique properties. That’s the idea behind Kershaw’s new composite blade knives, including the Composite Leek (Model 1660CB) and the Composite Junkyard Dog (Model 1725CB).

The Composite Leek offers the pocket-perfect size and styling of the Ken Onion Leek combined with our high-performance composite blade. It features the same two high-performance steels married in an even higher performance blade. The blade is paired with an all-stainless-steel handle for durability and good looks.

TUALATIN, OR—Kershaw Knives came away from the prestigious Blade Show with three of the Show’s top honors: The Blade Magazine’s 2007 Overall Knife of the Year, the 2007 Most Innovative American Design, and the 2007 Kitchen Knife of the Year.
These awards represent the very pinnacle of knife industry awards. The winners were selected by an overwhelming vote of trade-industry members, including leading companies such as Benchmade, Buck, and Gerber. The winners are chosen on a range of criteria—from design, innovation, and function to craftsmanship and quality. Here’s a brief rundown of Kershaw’s winning entries:
The Overall Knife of the Year was Kershaw’s Tyrade (Model 1850). The big news is the Tyrade’s patent-pending composite blade in which two steels are fused together for optimal performance and value. It features a durable spine of 154CM, plus a cutting edge of CPM-D2 for extreme sharpness. In the future, Kershaw will use the technology developed for the Tyrade to fuse other steels together so that every knife can have the very best steel on the cutting edge with a standard steel spine in order to keep the costs down. For a dramatic look, the Tyrade features irregular carbon fiber inlays in the big and beefy handle. The handles are built of titanium with a zirconium carbo-nitride coating for top performance. The Tyrade comes with a removable pocket clip. It is made in the USA and retails for $350.
2007’s Most Innovative American Design is Kershaw’s R.A.M. (Model 1910). The new R.A.M. offers a choice of smooth and easy, one-handed opening systems. The knife user can open the R.A.M. with an ambidextrous “flipper” system or the built-in thumb knobs. The flipper system incorporates resistance to hold the blade securely in the closed position until deployed by pulling on the extended tang at the front of the spine. The award-winning knife also features the patent-pending Hawk Lock that is both secure and easy to operate. The knife offers Sandvik 13C26 stainless steel blades and an anodized aluminum handle with G-10 overlays for a secure grip. The R.A.M. is made in the USA and retails for $89.95
Last, but not least, Kershaw’s Shun Kaji Knife Set (Model 9538885) took 2007 Kitchen Knife of the Year. The 8-piece set, exclusively designed for Williams-Sonoma, is a combination of Damascus and “clad,” or “jacketed,” construction—the perfect blend of ultimate technology and hand craftsmanship. The knives feature an amazingly sharp cutting core of SG-2 steel, Damascus patterned cladding of two different steels for strength and resilience, and handles that are not only beautiful, but ambidextrous and comfortable to use no matter the user’s hand size. With its angled end-cap embossed with the Shun logo, the Shun Kaji set looks stunning even at rest in its cherry wood block. These truly look and feel like the heirloom knives they are. TUALATIN, OR—You say you’re tired of the same-old, same-old when it comes to the color of your pocketknife? Then take a look at newest members of the Kershaw Ken Onion Leek series.
The Rainbow Leek with partial serration (Model 1660VIBST) features a blade and handles with a vibrant rainbow finish. The Pink Leek (Model 1660PINK) boasts a fashionable pink finish to its anodized aluminum handles.
In addition to the striking colors, the new Leeks offer premium Sandvik 13C26 stainless-steel blades for easy sharpening and wear resistance, as well as Kershaw’s SpeedSafe ambidextrous assisted opening system. The system enables users to open the knife with the index finger of the left or right hand, or with the handy thumb stud. The Rainbow Leek offers a secure frame lock, while the Pink Leek is secured with a locking liner.
The partially serrated Rainbow Leek’s finish is high-polish, rainbow titanium-oxide. Titanium oxide is a low-temperature PVD film that adds a durable, decorative, metallic coating to the Leek’s blade and handle. Though the coating is just one-half micron thick, it offers tough, ceramic-like wear properties. The rainbow colors are made by the application of electric currents in different intensities and duration to the titanium oxide. Without dye or pigments, this anodizing produces a literal rainbow of scratch-resistant colors and gives the Rainbow Leek a unique finish unmatched by other surface-finishing processes. The Pink Leeks also offers a scratch resistant anodized surface, but on light weight aluminum handles.
Both knives measure four inches when closed and have a three-inch blade. Both also come with a removable and reversible pocket clip. The handles are drilled for both tip-up and tip-down carry. Just unscrew the clip and turn it 180° to reverse the carry position. The partially serrated Rainbow Leek retails for $99.95 and the Pink Leek for $74.95.

TUALATIN, OR—In tough situations, it’s good to have a Responder on
hand; the new Kershaw Responder (Models 1078 and 1078YL), that is.
That’s because the Responder is built to handle everything from extreme
sports to rescue situations. The Responder features a fixed blade with

ultimate in a secure grip in any situation—from wet and muddy to cold

serrated blade has a blunt tip for safer cutting in close or dangerous
situations. The partial serration zips through most material with
ease—including line, webbing, and seat belts. The built-in hook on the
back of the blade can be used to cut through rope or cording quickly and
easily when it really counts. The 3 ¾-inch blade is AUS8A stainless
steel with Black Teflon® coating.

sheath with multiple carry options. The sheath offers both cord eyelets
and strap slots to enable carry on vest, backpack, or belt.

TUALATIN, OR—Introducing the “Baby Boa” (Model 1585BR). The Baby
Boa provides the uniquely shaped blade and handle sweep of Kershaw’s
Ken Onion Boa knife, but in a smaller, pocket-sized package.
Yet the Baby Boa offers its own unique features. In addition to mirroring
the lines of the larger Boa, the Baby Boa has a unique cutaway in the
handle that exposes the SpeedSafe torsion bar in order to provide a
glimpse at the inner workings of the popular SpeedSafe system.
For added drama, the lightweight aluminum handle features Kershaw’s
doubled-anodized “smoking” process. Anodizing aluminum produces a
porous coating that can absorb dyes. This makes it possible to produce
colored surfaces that are extremely scratch-resistant. The handle is
actually anodized twice—once to lay down the base color; in this case,
a rich red—and a second time to “smoke” the handle with black. This
produces a finish that looks as if smoke had been captured and
imprinted on the handle. Each handle is absolutely unique—no two are
exactly alike.
The 1585BR features the patented SpeedSafe assisted opening system.
It can be accessed either with the Index Finger Opening System, for left-
or right-handed opening, or with a handy thumb stud. Packed with top
